Augie, Waterfall CEO,  grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia (USA), travelling to Africa for the first time as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in Ghana (1996-1999). He later spent 12 years developing technology and research programs with African scientists in West, East, and Southern Africa, focusing on topics such as robotics, data transmission, ocean and coastal science, atmospheric modeling, and mathematics. He is interested in technology innovation that is cost effective and solves real-world problems.

Frank Kyei Bofah (Frank)

Frank Kyei Bofah (Frank)

Frank is the Waterfall National Director, Ghana, and is an expert in GIS.  He grew up in Accra, had his Secondary Education in the Eastern Region, and graduated from the University of Ghana with a degree in Earth Science..  He is the enthusiastic leader of the Waterfall field team, using his commitment to hard work, attention to detail, and excellent organisational skills.

He has helped the team adapt to new tasks as the Waterfall app is field tested and rolled out, by developing new approaches to communication, identifying improvements in the app, and training new members of the field team.

Awo Sitsofe Tsagbey

Awo Sitsofe Tsagbey

Awo, Waterfall CIO, is a graduate of statistics from the Catholic University of Chile (Masters) and the University of São Paulo (PhD).  As an employee of Santander Bank, she has created statistical models for detecting fraud.

At Waterfall, she leads data collection and analysis, helping Waterfall better understand its diverse clientele.

Abu Sayed Mahfuz Hasan (Sohel)

Abu Sayed Mahfuz Hasan (Sohel)

Sohel, Waterfall CTO, completed a computer engineering degree in 2008 and a graduate degree in 2015.  After graduation, he started his career as a software developer in the largest company in Bangladesh. He later switched to a bank with the largest virtual presence in the country, working on Bangladesh’s first ever mobile banking system, which reached over 20M clients.

He has 12+ years of experience as a developer, and repeated success as a team head on a variety of projects.

Belinda Laryea

Belinda Laryea

Belinda is the Media and Advertisement Manager for Waterfall, having previously worked at the Multimedia Group of Companies. She is a specialist in content creation and advertisement, and is an alumna of the Ghana Media School. She prides herself in producing quality work and listening closely to the needs and goals of clients and customers. In her spare time she enjoys relaxing with a good crime novel.
